FIRST, What is organic engagement?
It is most easily described as customers communicating with your brand.
This can be in likes, comments, shares, saves and messages.
Top engagement tips:
Comments - reply to every comment on your posts and help push for more engagement by asking more questions. on your communities posts, stories and under hashtags that relate to your business
Stories - Be social on stories (Yes, show your face!) and share stickers to get your audience to engage with your content. You can reply to any story tap by sending your audience a direct message and building that connection.
CTA - Add an engaging call to action in your captions to start a conversation with your audience. Do you prefer meeting a customer in person or social media engagement?
Share relatable content with your ideal audience to get more engagement. Everyone loves a good quote or funny meme.
Follow up with your audience from previous comments and DM conversations. Remind them you have not forgotten your community and appreciate the support. Remember to build real authentic relationships on social.
An organic strategy nurtures your relationship with your community.
What is the perfect amount of time to spend engaging on social?
There is no right answer here.
I recommend that every time you go check your accounts instead of scrolling for hours, take a few minutes to comment on your audience posts, share their content, DM one person and start building that engagement.
Check your insights for most active times your community is online and try schedule your posts to publish before that time, then if you can engage with your audience before and after your post goes live then they are more likely to see your post.
